While this last week was on fire with news of Super Storm Sandy, and its effects on the real estate market and NasDaq index, Downtown Miami had a few noteworthy stories brewing in the background.

This first week of October 2012 saw the Annual Wealth Management Roundtable at the Banker?s Club in Downtown Miami.

This November 15, the Real Deal will also be hosting its own roundtable at the Vizcayne condo tower in Downtown Miami real estate market. The South Florida real estate newsroom will be releasing its first printed version of 2012?s Market Report for the region. The move will solidify the Real Deal as one of the industry?s most credible sources of real estate data and statistics.

The Latest Downtown Miami Real Estate News

In closely related Downtown Miami real estate news, Lenny Kravitz has dabbled in the real estate market yet again, with his understated and elegant design for Paramount Bay condos. Miami Curbed reports that the design resembled his former multimillion NYC loft, which was recently sold to Alicia Keys.

FDOT is also planning a super new highway under the I-395, that would allow pedestrians to hang out under the bridges with parks, trees and cool shades. The plans are just scratching the surface, as it won?t be breaking? ground until 2021, if approved.
