Security, Privacy, and the Internet

Vacation Hacker Security, Privacy, and the InternetInternet security and privacy are huge issues, and that will not change for the foreseeable future. The online universe has made it possible to plan dates, research policy positions, make health decisions, buy the newest gadgets, and a host of others activities. So it behooves consumers to take extra precaution and protect themselves from online predators.

It?s always a great time to share valuable free tool. I came across one recently called Hotspot Shield, and it encrypts and protects all of your data on any mobile device like phones or tablets, along with laptops. Because it compresses data, it also reduces the data your devices use. Moreover, it allows unrestricted internet access anytime, anywhere in the world ? even in countries with censorship.

It has been downloaded more than 100 million times globally, and protects users from over 3 million malware threats, phishing sites, and spam. Impressive to say the least.

This is about empowering yourself with the tools to safeguard your private information, credit cards, tracking where you visit, and your passwords.

The internet evolves more and more each year, as do the dangers. And its important that the tools we use be consistent to the size and scope of those problems. Here is a great video, with commentary by Huffpost blogger Robert Siciliano, on how great Hotspot is for those of us who value the web:
